Pregame notes

The Wizards (0-2) are coming off a double overtime 84-81 loss against the Brooklyn Nets. The team was led by Jaime Echenique, who scored 17 points. Mason Jones and Austin Hollins added 13 points each. Washington finished the game shooting 36.4 percent from the field, which was surprisingly better than the Nets, who went 32.1 percent from the field. The Wizards shot even worse from beyond the arc, making just 20.6 percent of shots.

Sunday might be their final chance to secure a win before wrapping up Summer League in Vegas. The Bucks (1-1 as of Friday afternoon) have been led by Jordan Nwora, who had 30 points, 6 assists and 8 rebounds in his Summer League debut. He followed it up with 22 points and 6 rebounds in his second game. While Nwora will be Washington’s main focus, the Bucks have a handful of players (Mamadi Diakite, Sandro Mamukelashvili, Brandon Randolph, Theo Pinson, Giorgos Kalaitzakis and Steven Enoch) who have shown they can make an impact offensively and score in double-figures.

The Wizards will have their hands full with this Bucks squad.
