Talk about one busy day for the Washington Wizards! The Wizards traded Russell Westbrook for several players and the No. 22 pick in this year’s draft. And they are still wheeling and dealing!
The Los Angeles Lakers selected Kentucky forward Isaiah Jackson with the No. 22 pick. Jackson averaged 8.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game last season. Though the trade is not official, the Wizards will have his rights, so that means he’s here, right?
Nope. Washington will trade Jackson to the Indiana Pacers for Aaron Holiday and move back to the No. 31 pick in the Draft.
Wizards will receive No. 31 -- along with Aaron Holiday -- from Indiana too, sources said. https://t.co/C1133bFQB2

Holiday, a point guard, averaged 7.2 points and 1.9 assists per game with the Pacers last season and will be entering his fourth NBA season. At first glance, it appears that Holiday may be a candidate to play significant minutes at the point guard position next season.
How do you think Holiday will do for Washington next season? One of the team’s biggest weaknesses as of now is at the point guard position. I’m not sure if Holiday will solve Washington’s issues there, but it is interesting to see that the Wizards quickly traded their extra first round pick for a reserve point guard.
