During a first round of interviews, it’s important to note that just because someone wasn’t interviewed according to someone’s Twitter doesn’t mean that he or she won’t altogether. Case in point? Denver Nuggets assistant coach Wes Unseld, Jr.
Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today reported that Unseld interviewed with the Wizards today.
Nuggets associate head coach Wes Unseld Jr. interviewed with the Wizards today, I'm told.

His dad, Wes Unseld Sr., played for the Wizards and was a front-office executive and coach for the team.
Now that we know that Unseld has reportedly interviewed for the head coaching vacancy, the Wizards have now interviewed both of their rumored top targets, the other being Philadelphia 76ers assistant coach Sam Cassell.
As I wrote earlier today and numerous times, just because someone is interviewed or even a finalist doesn’t mean he or she is likely getting the job. Maybe some other finalist can sway things. Ask San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon.
There is no timetable on when the Wizards plan on making an offer. But if Unseld is the top target, they will have to keep an eye on the Orlando Magic, who will give him a second interview for their head coaching vacancy.
