What would increase your confidence in the Wizards this offseason and beyond?

New, comments

Wizards fans don’t agree on a lot of things, but one thing they seem to agree on is that the team can’t be in a holding pattern.

As we look back on the Washington Wizards’ 2020-21 NBA season, there’s one thing that stuck out to me, beyond the record, trades and their early season coronavirus outbreak. It’s that most fans never had confidence that the team was headed in the right direction.

I know, we received criticism about the SB Nation NBA Reacts survey methodology and data gathering all season long. Some think fans are too fickle after a winning or losing streak. Some fans are just bitter after John Wall was traded for Russell Westbrook or after seeing Scott Brooks remain the head coach for the last five years or that the Wizards didn’t look outside Monumental Sports & Entertainment to find Ernie Grunfeld’s replacement.

What things do you want to see from the Wizards to do to increase your confidence in the team going forward? Is it a change in head coach and nothing more? Would you rather see a new General Manager or someone to work alongside Tommy Sheppard? Or is it something else entirely? Let us know in the comments below.
