The Washington Wizards will continue their road trip, this time against the Toronto Raptors. After a tough loss last night to the Milwaukee Bucks, hopefully Washington doesn’t feel too down. You can watch the game at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Washington. You can listen to the game on 1500 AM or the Wizards mobile app if you are local. Otherwise, there’s SiriusXM.
I’m going to use the rest of this space to address some of the comments from today’s post on SB Nation NBA Reacts’ survey ... on last week’s results. Some of you have questioned whether the respondents are too negative on the team. After all, wouldn’t fan confidence in the Wizards increase during an eight-game win streak instead of the exact opposite?
My response? The results aren’t too negative if the respondents feel that way. And so you know, I voted that I don’t think the Wizards are headed in the right direction in every single survey this season. It’s a poorly kept secret that I think Scott Brooks should be fired as head coach.
That said, you don’t have to agree with my opinion. And if most Wizards fans feel confident, whether it’s because of Brooks’ coaching or despite it, I’m more than happy to say so. And if you haven’t already, sign up for SB Nation NBA Reacts by clicking on the link below, and selecting that you are a Washington Wizards fan. That way, you’ll get some questions that are solely for us, as opposed to national narratives that often don’t apply to Bradley Beal, Russell Westbrook and the crew.
And with that, let’s chat about tonight’s game. Go Wizards.
