Sunday Wizards and Mystics GameThread

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday. Today the Washington Wizards and Mystics will play at the exact same time, at 1 p.m. ET.

You can tune into TNT to watch the Wizards in Game 1 of their first round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers.

I don’t see the Wizards winning this first round series. That said I expect them to keep the margins close in most games, and I think they lose the series in five games.

Let me know if you think my prediction is a bit too pessimistic, or optimistic.

The Mystics game will be on ESPN3 online. They will play an Indiana Fever team that is also winless and without sophomore point guard Julie Allemand who has commitments with the Belgium women’s national basketball team. Allemand was on the WNBA All-Rookie team last year and should be a spark for Indy, once she returns.

After an 0-2 regular season start, Mystics came up with a much-needed win against the New York Liberty on Friday. Hopefully the momentum continues this afternoon.
