The Washington Wizards will start their first round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers tomorrow. While they are a No. 8. seed and I don’t see them winning the best-of-seven series, it feels like the roles are reversed.

You see, Philadelphia is the home of Rocky Balboa. Okay, I get it. Rocky is not real. But his legend epitomizes Philadelphia’s blue collar, underdog-can-make-this a-show mentality. But the Sixers are more like Apollo Creed than Rocky Balboa in this one.

Meanwhile, the Wizards just wanna make this series go all seven games. Let’s just not get swept!

Anyway, the Washington Mystics are also getting back into the groove of the regular season. They are currently 1-2, coming off a big win last Friday against the New York Liberty.
