Washington Mystics vs. Phoenix Mercury 8 p.m. ET

Tonight the Washington Mystics remain at home hosting the Phoenix Mercury. Mystics are coming off a blowout loss to the Chicago Sky and don’t look like the pure shooting team they can be. They’ll still be without Elena Delle Donne, but this team still has the talent to persevere. This is another season where finding identity is necessary.

Washington can’t start the season off on an even more bad note or it’s going to be a long season.

Tonights game is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2.

Washington Wizards at Boston Celtics 9:00 p.m. ET

We have Washington and Boston....nooo not the Capitals or Bruins but the Wizards and Celtics. The Wizards ended their season with a win that pushed them to the eighth seed in the play-in tournament facing the seventh seeded Celtics.

How it goes is the winner is automatically the seventh seed in the playoffs and will play the Brooklyn Nets. The loser will get a second chance and play the winner of the the ninth and 10th seed game who then will become the eighth and final seed of the playoffs.

Bradley Beal has been battling a hamstring injury and will be playing but hopefully he feels a little better than what we saw at the end of the season.

The game is scheduled to tip off at 9:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
