The Washington Wizards are waiving Jerome Robinson, according the ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The shooting guard averaged 4.9 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in his 17. 9 minutes per game for the Wizards this season. The 24-year-old played in 17 games and was in the starting lineup for 6. Three of his starts this season came while Bradley Beal was out with a hip contusion injury.
Robinson was acquired by the team in Feb. 2020 in a three-team deadline trade with the Los Angeles Clippers and New York Knicks. In 2018, he was selected with the 13th overall pick by the Clippers.
Just two minutes after announcing the Robinson news, Woj followed up with a tweeted saying “Washington is expected to bring back F Jordan Bell on a 10-day contract soon, sources said.”

Looks like Washington will have some announcements coming this week. Perhaps this announcement could come as soon as Thursday.
