A Washington Wizards game day is back again! Tonight’s opponent is the San Antonio Spurs. Currently the Wizards are on a eight-game win streak, their first since 2001. Yup a whole 20 years!
The Wizards sit in the final spot of the play-in tournament with a two-game lead ahead of the Chicago Bulls and only a few games back of actually obtaining a playoff-berth. With the way Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal have been playing lately, no team can seem to stop them. Beal is averaging 31.1 points this season, second in the league. He’s also the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
As for the updates to the team, Rui Hachimura is off the injury report and active tonight. Westbrook will be playing tonight despite listed with an ankle sprain, but Robin Lopez is out tonight ailing an ankle sprain as well.
UPDATE: Westbrook will play. Lopez is out. https://t.co/jgrs6cS6F6
