Avdija eventually left in a wheelchair and will not return to the game.
The rookie started the game where he scored 6 points on 3-of-5 shooting and he also grabbed 3 rebounds. Given that Avdija’s leg was covered, things don’t look good. That said, it’s hard to say exactly what kind of injury Avdija specifically got. All we know is that at this time, he’s in pain.
The Wizards led 60-58 over the Warriors at halftime. Win this game for Deni everyone. Let’s get this streak up to six, especially now that fans are back in the arena.
