What to Look Out For

Russell Westbrook is 11 triple-doubles away from breaking the record currently held by Oscar Robertson. If he does break it, what will that do for his career? But in the meantime he’s been dominating the game making him and Bradley one of the best backcourt duos in the league averaging a combined 50+ points per game. Something finally clicked with Westbrook and what that has meant for the Washington Wizards is they’ll be winning more than losing hopefully.

Theres also the fact the Wizards are tied for 10th place with the Chicago Bulls. In other words the Bulls and I’ll add Raptors as well need to lose more than win as Washington does the opposite. The Wizards could literally grab the 10th place spot with a win on Monday. They could even sneak in a potential playoff berth. It’s a matter of how Washington takes each game.

Beal is hoping to not get edged out from getting his first scoring title in the league. He’s averaging 31.1 points per game while Golden State Warriors own Stephen Curry has been on a binge averaging 31 points per game. We’ll definitely need Beal to throw in some more 50 to 60 point games while Curry goes on a brief drought. It’s too close to tell how it’ll end but it’ll definitely be a nail-biter.
