The Washington Wizards (23-33) have continued their winning ways, blowing out the Detroit Pistons (17-40), 121-120. It is their fourth consecutive win!
Washington never trailed in the game and momentum was clearly on their side in the first half with Russell Westbrook getting a near triple-double with 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 7 points. As you might have guessed, Westbrook got his triple double with 15 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists. Bradley Beal was his usual self scoring 19 of his 37 points in the first half.
And ... Daniel Gafford? He had 8 points, 8 rebounds, FOUR BLOCKS, AND A PUTBACK SLAM LIKE THIS!

Davis Bertans missed his second consecutive game due to personal reasons, specifically with the birth of his second child. Rui Hachimura also left the game early due to knee soreness. Alex Len also lef the game early due to ankle soreness. Hopefully, nothing is serious for Hachimura or Len.
For Detroit, Frank Jackson and Isaiah Stewart had 19 points each.
The Wizards will continue their homestand on Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tipoff is at 8 p.m. ET for Washington’s last home game without fans this season. Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone.
