After a big win against the New Orleans Pelicans last night, the Washington Wizards will try to win again tonight against the Detroit Pistons.
I don’t have much more to add besides Diamond’s preview from earlier this morning. But to recap, Daniel Gafford has been a spark for Washington since he was traded here. Also on the injury front, Davis Bertans is out due to personal reasons. He also missed last night’s game for the same reason.
Davis Bertans will miss tonight’s game vs. Pistons again for personal reasons.

If Washington wins today, it will be their third consecutive win. Washington is also in a three-way winning percentage tie with the Toronto Raptors and Chicago Bulls for the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference, which will give them a berth in the 2021 NBA Playoffs’ play-in round.
That said, Washington has lost the tiebreakers to both Toronto and Chicago so they’re really one game behind. At any rate, it will be interesting to see the Wizards win again tonight and ... make a run for it.
Go Wiz!
