Welcome back, @1jordanbell!
This is Bell’s second stint with the Wizards this season. He played three games in January, averaging 3.3 points and 5.3 rebounds in 16.7 minutes. He was released but played for the Erie Bayhawks in the G-League’s bubble, averaging 17.6 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game in seven appearances. Erie finished with the third best record in the G-League but were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs to the Lakeland Magic in a single elimination game.
Now that the G League season is over, Bell should be able to give a boost off the bench for the Wizards. Though the team is generally able to play, Thomas Bryant aside, perhaps the team is looking to play younger players as a play-in game opportunity becomes harder to reach, regardless of whether Bell is back for another 10-day contract.
