The Washington Wizards play the Detroit Pistons tonight at 7 p.m. ET. You can watch the game on NBC Sports Washington. Listen to it on 1500 AM, the Wizards app or SiriusXM Radio.
Washington is looking to beat Detroit for the second time in a week. Raul Neto was cleared to play earlier tonight, hopefully Bradley Beal is too after a hip tweak, but Russell Westbrook has been playing his best basketball this season since the All-Star Break even though the wins aren’t there.

A win against Detroit will be expected. The Pistons are 13-34, last in the NBA’s Eastern Conference so Washington just has to get the job done, assuming they are still clinging to their nearly-faded playoff hopes.
I’m not sure what to expect here tonight, besides another Westbrook triple double. He’s certainly getting the Wizards back on the national spotlight because of them, tough it also took ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith and some pointed critiques to get him there.
It stinks for Washington Nationals fans that they are not able to see the home opener tonight due to a positive coronavirus test, but that’s life during the pandemic. But at any rate, let’s see if the Wizards can pull off another win tonight. See you all after the game.
