Washington comes into this game after a loss to the Boston Celtics on Sunday while the Grizzlies are coming off a 133-84 win against the Houston Rockets, also last Sunday. You can read the preview below:
The Wizards have two more games to play before the All-Star Break and will look to continue making up lost ground after a poor 3-12 start. They are 10-9 since that start, but I still think they’ll have to overachieve for awhile longer before we can seriously wonder whether they can make the 10th seed for the playoff play-in tournament.
I’m still not feeling good about Washington’s loss last Sunday and the Grizzlies are a team that Washington should be capable of beating them with good defense and solid offense like they have for much February. Go Wizards.
