The Washington Wizards play the Milwaukee Bucks tonight at 7 p.m. ET. Watch the game on NBC Sports Washington locally and tune into 1500 AM or SiriusXM if you need to listen instead.
Washington is so far winless in the second half. While these losses have been predictable given the strength of schedule, it also shows just how far Washington is from being a threat in the Eastern Conference.
There isn’t much on the trade block involving the Wizards, besides maybe Troy Brown, so we will see him play more minutes tonight unless a deal looks imminent. And other than that, I think we are just going to wait for another near-inevitable defeat.
I was happy to see that the Wizards were competitive last Saturday in their 125-119 loss. So though tonight’s game seems like another “near-inevitable” loss, maybe they’ll have one more February-like win stretch to keep the 10th seed in reach. We’ll see, and go Wiz.
