Pregame notes
Bounce back? — The Wizards were that close to 8 wins in 9 games. But Jayson Tatum decided otherwise. With 8 points in the last 2 minutes he single-handedly changed the outcome of Sunday’s game. The Grizzlies are the perfect opportunity to bounce back at home from that loss before a very tough stretch that includes the Clippers, the Grizzlies again, the 76ers, and the Bucks (twice). The Wizards want to arrive to the trade deadline (March 25) as close as possible to .500 and that will be tough. Today is a thus a must-win if they want to keep Beal happy and here.
The Wizards can play D — It was encouraging to see how the Wizards can play D with the right personnel and energy. Let’s see if they can keep it against Memphis.
Flashback: What did Jayson Tatum just do?
This just happened yesterday, but it’s shocking what Jayson Tatum did. Worth a flashback already!
