Bradley Beal’s streak of 25 games comes to an end as well.

The Washington Wizards (5-14) lost to the Miami Heat 122-95 on Friday night, failing to get anything much going.

Bradley Beal came into this game on a 17-game streak of 25 point scoring efforts came to an end. Unfortunately, it came to an end tonight in epic fashion as he shot under 10 percent from the field. One of fourteen shooting from the field for 7 points in fact. He was double teamed often, but it wasn’t like anyone helped much....

Washington turned the ball over left and right and the Heat took an early lead and never looked back. Miami had a 37 point lead at one point and the Wizards eventually had 17 turnovers. They pretty much lost in every statistical area except free throws (21-of-24). But that means little when the three point shooting and shooting from the field remained well under 40 and 30 percent respectively....

Washington had a public whooping with a belt today on their bare bottoms by the Heat. It hurt that bad to watch this loss, especially after a good win last Wednesday.

From the box score, Kendrick Nunn led with 25 points for the Heat while Bam Adebayo added 21.

As for the Wizards, Alex Len was their lone bright spot with 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting, perhaps. And Russell Westbrook added 13 points and Davis Bertans did make both of his three pointers and had 9 points. But again these are all empty stats.

But again, this loss was so bad that I have nothing nice to say, so I’ll leave it there.

The Wizards continue their road trip in Charlotte this Sunday to play the Hornets. Tipoff is at 1 p.m. ET.
