No, you don’t have deja vu. The Wizards are playing a second consecutive road game against the Miami Heat. The Wizards won the first on Wednesday night and will look to tie their longest winning streak of the season at two games in a row. They started off 2021 by beating the Timberwolves and Nets in consecutive games. Tonight’s game is at 8 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Washington.
The Wizards will have Russell Westbrook back for this one while the Heat are going to be even more shorthanded. Avery Bradley, Moe Harkless, Meyers Leonard, Chris Silva, and Gabe Vincent are all OUT for the Heat.
The Heat are still a dangerous team with Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Duncan Robinson, and Tyler Herro potentially getting heavy minutes tonight. However, the Wizards are coming off probably their best defensive effort of the season and it would be a major step in the right direction to look competent on that end of the floor in back-to-back games.
