The Washington Wizards play the Boston Celtics tonight at 7 p.m. ET. You can watch the game on NBC Sports Washington.
This Wizards team is on a roll right now to say the least. They have won seven of their last eight games including a five game win streak that now gets them to a 13-18 record. They are still 1.5 games out of 10th place and a spot for the play-in tournament.
However, Washington also has the best record in their last ten games out of any team that’s placed 11th to 15th in the East right now. In fact, among all teams placed 7th through 15th, Washington is tied for the best record with the Miami Heat based on just their last ten games.
It won’t be easy to defeat the Celtics, especially if Russell Westbrook is a late scratch due to a back-to-back. But momentum is on Washington’s side.
