There's definitely more happiness in Washington Wizards game days! Today Washington is at home hosting Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Keep in mind the Wizards have won six of their last seven games which is amazing considering the fact at the beginning of the season it didn’t seem like Washington would even get 20 wins.
Now the Wizards sit two to three games out of being a top-five seed in the Eastern Conference. How interesting would it be to go from last in the NBA to securing a potential playoff spot in the East?
Far as injuries, Minnesota won’t have D’Angelo Russell who was a definite spark on the offense. For Washington, Davis Bertans will be a game-time decision with knee soreness. Ish Smith is still out dealing with a quad injury.
The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and being televised on NBC Sports Washington.
