The Washington Wizards (11-18) take on the Denver Nuggets (17-14) tonight at 9 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Washington. The Wizards are currently in 13th place in the Eastern Conference, and 2.5 games back from 8th place. The Nuggets are currently in 7th place in the Western Conference. The Wizards are 6-4 in their last 10 games and the Nuggets are 5.5.

The two teams played on February 17, with the Wizards squeaking out a 130-128 win. Nikola Jokic (33 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists) and Jamal Murray (35 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists) carried the Nuggets in that game but Murray came up short at the buzzer. Bradley Beal (25 points, 4 rebounds, 10 assists) and Russell Westbrook (12 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists) were productive as usual but the real story for the Wizards was Davis Bertans.

Bertans finally had a major breakout game for the Wizards to put them over the top. He scored 35 points and made like 100 three-pointers in the game. I know that math doesn’t check out but it really felt like he was bombing away from everywhere on the court. The Wizards would benefit from a repeat performance tonight as they look to start a new win streak.
