Wizards at Clippers GameThread

Washington remains at the Staples Center....bring on Los Angeles!!

NBA: Los Angeles Clippers at Washington Wizards Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

Back like we never left! No literally we were just here last night!

Anywho it’s Washington Wizards Game Day!! And we are remaining at the Staples Center but this time the Los Angeles Clippers are in our way of extending our win streak to six games.

That's right the Wizards are currently on a five-game win streak after taking down the 2020 defending champs, Los Angeles Lakers, in overtime last night. And Washington is definitely looking to keep that going!

The Wizards have been showing up lately and coming back from multiple deficits to secure more wins than losses. Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook have been playing really well together (if only Westbrook could make his free throws and reduce turnovers).

The Clippers will be a harder team to face, but at this point Washington can do whatever they set their mind too. I mean sitting at 11-17 the Wizards are two games out of being the eighth seed or even being in the play-in tournament.

Checking egos at the door and believing they’re more than just a bad record, Washington isn’t to be slept on.

Game time is 10 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Washington.
