Washington Wizards Game Day in full effect tonight as they host the Denver Nuggets. Final home game for Washington before they head to the west coast on a four-game road trip. Tonight’s game is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Washington.
The Wizards are currently on a win streak. Their last games were victories over the Boston Celtics and the Houston Rockets spoiling John Wall’s return to Capital One Arena. Denver currently sits seventh in the Western Conference. Will Washington be able to stop the Joker himself?
In an update to injuries, it looks like the Wizards will be without Ish Smith for about two months as he continues to deal with a right quad injury. With Raul Neto off the injury report, he’ll most likely be the go to backup point guard for Russell Westbrook.
Injury update: Ish Smith will miss approximately 6-8 weeks due to a right proximal quadriceps injury.
