It’s a Washington Wizards Game Day AND the return of John Wall to Capital One Arena. It’s not the return we expected, nor the trade we expected, since COVID-19 has been in the mix. Washington plays the Houston Rockets tonight and will also do a video tribute for Wall in the first quarter.

The Wizards met with the Rockets for the first time since the shocking trade back in January where Wall scored 24 points and Houston won 107-88. Beal and Wall greeted one another as the brothers they’ve always declared to be.
It’s definitely going to be different seeing Wall finally grace the court at Cap One but as part of the opposing team. Truly makes you wonder how close we could’ve been back to the Wall and Beal backcourt that caused concern in the East.
But for now it is what it is.
For the Wizards, a few players are on the injury report. Garrison Mathews and Anthony Gill are questionable tonight. Ish Smith is out.
Russell Westbrook will be playing tonight as well especially since he’s been known this season to rest during back to back games.
Game time is slated for 7 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Washington and NBA TV.
DC ABOVE ALL!!!
