What to watch for

Washington lost their first preseason game earlier this week against the Houston Rockets. That said, Bradley Beal scored 18 points, many players including rookie Corey Kispert scored in double figures and as I stated in the recap, the players who were on the floor at the end of the Houston game won’t be in similar situations during the regular season. Hopefully, we’ll see a victory this time with Washington’s true rotation players against New York’s.

The Knicks are coming off a 125-104 win against the Indiana Pacers where they looked really good throughout, especially with their starting lineup. New York is expected to be one of the better teams in the East, so this game will be a better test of where Washington stands in the Eastern Conference hierarchy.
