Wizards at Nets GameThread

Welcome Back to Brooklyn Spencer!

It’s Washington Wizards Game Day!

Washington is on the road in New York facing the Brooklyn Nets tonight. This will be a reunion with the Nets and their former point guard Spencer Dinwiddie. Dinwiddie played for the Nets from 2016 till 2020 and was traded to Washington in August of 2021. He last played for the Nets in December 2020 when sustained a partial year of his ACL.

Now back healthy we’re sure the Nets wished they had kept him with all that’s going on.

Every game is a test for the Wizards because they’re underdogs when facing any opponent. The entire team knows and has been playing way better defense than in their previous season.

Bradley Beal missed the season home opener, but hopefully will return tonight in a game where his scoring is needed. Kevin Durant is the prime scorer for Brooklyn, but Washington can compete and get everyone going if they take smart shots and not let referees decided the outcome of the game.

Tonight’s game is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET.

DC ABOVE ALL!!!
