Wizards at Knicks GameThread

Wizards kick off their 4th and final preseason game against the Knicks, can they end it on a high note?

NBA: Preseason-Toronto Raptors at Washington Wizards Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

The end of the preseason is finally upon us. So far we have seen the ups and downs with this team transitioning with new players and a new coach. The Wizards looked much better against the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday, but there is still some work left to be done.

During last Saturday’s matchup against the New York Knicks in Capital One Arena, the Wizards were thoroughly outplayed by a Knicks team that hit 24 threes while shooting 46 percent from distance. The question tonight will be, have the Wizards made incremental improvement since that game or is this team still a ways away from figuring it out?

With the final preseason game being in the great Madison Square Garden, this should be a fun one to watch, even for a preseason game. Remember the game will be televised on NBC Sports Washington starting at 7:30 PM, but the team will simulcast the Knicks telecast instead of the normal Justin Kutcher-Drew Gooden broadcast team. You can also listen to the game on Team 980 Radio (980 AM or 106.7-2 FM).
