The United States is under a very tense period and we as DMV residents are in the thick of it.

Hi everyone,

As you may be aware, there are significant, dangerous events going on in Washington, D.C. There are protests in the city against the outcome of the Presidential Election which was supposed to be certified in the U.S. Capitol. However, protestors have stormed the Capitol and it’s a scary situation right now.

The District is under a curfew at 6 p.m. tonight until 6 a.m. tomorrow.

So stay away from Capitol Hill and the National Mall. Stay at home, especially if you are in D.C.

As you are also aware, the Washington Wizards are playing tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Wizards are on the road, so they are far away from the events going on. But that game is really a blip on the radar considering what is going on right now. I just hope no one gets hurt in D.C. or worse.

It’s a stressful time out there. And I hope we all stay as calm as we can over the next couple weeks.
