SB Nation Reacts: Wizards fans are simply not confident in the team’s direction, even if the team just won two games in a row

The first survey came in when the Wizards were 0-3 last week.

The Washington Wizards are not off to a good start and that has affected fan confidence to start this season.

Last week’s results came in right before the New Year, but Washington’s loss got me so upset that I forgot to post how much people voted in whether they feel confident in the team’s direction.

So here is the number:

SIXTEEN PERCENT.

Sorry, there was no graphic for this one at the time I wrote this.

But that's right. Less than one in six people were confident in the Wizards going in the right direction as of last Monday when they were 0-3. I’d imagine that fewer than one in ten fans would be confident in the team after the Wizards’ New Year’s Eve 133-130 loss to the Chicago Bulls.

Things have changed over New Year’s Day weekend because the Wizards have won two consecutive games, including last night’s game against the Brooklyn Nets.

When this week’s survey comes out today (they generally come out on Monday), I’d imagine that there will be a bump.

But if you are asking me whether I am confident in the Wizards’ direction, I still am not.
