Wizards vs Nets GameThread

We still don’t have the greatest pitch to get KD to D.C. right now...

NBA: Washington Wizards at Brooklyn Nets Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

First things first....there will be no James Harden for the Brooklyn Nets as he deals with a thigh contusion.

Secondly, it’s Washington Wizards Game Day! We play the Nets tonight in our second meeting of the season, the first being on January 3 which we won 123-122. As the Wizards say time and time again, they haven’t lost their confidence despite being league worst 3-12.

The interesting matchup to keep an eye on is Rui Hachimura and Kevin Durant. We know Durant will definitely play his game, but the defensive efforts of Hachimura shouldn’t go unnoticed. And at least someone on this Washington team believes in some defense since it hasn’t appeared all season.

Just because the Wizards won before doesn’t mean it’ll be an easy run this game go round. Durant is second in the league in scoring right under Bradley Beal who sits at first.

The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and will be televised on NBA TV and NBC Sports Washington.

DC ABOVE ALL!!!
