Wizards at Nets GameThread

Washington Wizards Game Day has arrived! This evening at 6 p.m. ET the Wizards have the Brooklyn Nets on their schedule. They’ll be taking on tops players: Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. The Nets have lost Spencer Dinwiddie for the season due to a partially torn ACL. At least the Wizards may have an advantage when it comes to the rotations.

Washington will be back to their normal starting lineup after Westbrook was out due to rest.

Hopefully the win against Minnesota gave the Wizards much needed momentum to get over their hurdles and get more victories in the win column. A well-rounded effort by every player is needed if they want to come out as the winners. It can’t all fall on Beal and Westbrook has to realize facilitating leads to a better team effort.

Thomas Bryant will have his hands full with Jarrett Allen, but hopefully he’ll manage.

The game is scheduled to air on NBC Sports Washington and NBA TV.
