It’s Washington Wizards Game Day.....finally. Washington will visit the San Antonio Spurs tonight in the first game of a three-game round trip. While the Wizards sit at 3-8, most teams around the league have already played 16-17 games. That’s because the Wizards haven’t played a game since defeating the Phoenix Suns 128-107 on Monday, January 11.
There was a lot going on between contact-tracing and Wizards players testing positive. And of course at one point not having the needed eight players to play a game. Even tonight it seems the Wizards will have exactly eight players give or take as they’ve added Alex Len and Jordan Bell to the center position since Thomas Bryant is out for the season which just leaves Robin Lopez.
Also majority of the Washington team won’t be playing tonight anyway. They’re in health/safety protocol at the moment.
Injury/illness report: Russell Westbrook and Raul Neto are both questionable for tomorrow's #WizSpurs. pic.twitter.com/XW9ihbS9wS
