The Washington Mystics have begun their free agency period while the Washington Wizards are in the coronavirus doldrums.

The Washington Mystics are now entering their 2021 WNBA free agency period where they negotiate salaries with players. We hope to see a roster that looks like the 2019 team that won the championship, but we can still expect player movement nevertheless.

The Washington Wizards, on the other hand, are in a crisis. Multiple players have the coronavirus, and they won’t be playing games at least through the weekend. The Wizards weren’t doing well on the court either, where they had a 3-8 record through last Monday when they played the Phoenix Suns.

It’s also time for the next Washington Wizards/Mystics mailbag.
