The Washington Wizards play the Phoenix Suns tonight at 7 p.m. ET at Capital One Arena in D.C. You can watch the game on NBC Sports Washington locally or on NBA League Pass elsewhere. For the radio, you can listen to 1500 AM, the Wizards app if you are in the D.C. area or SiriusXM.
Washington comes into this game on a three-game losing streak and will face one of the hottest teams in the league right now since Phoenix is 7-3. But they’re going to be without their top three players with Bradley Beal, Russell Westbrook and Thomas Bryant out.
Ultimately, this game will probably be another Washington loss. Yet oddly enough, the Wizards have managed to stay competitive in nearly every game. It isn’t uncommon for many losing teams to keep things close despite the negative results. But at some point, the bottom falls out so don’t be surprised to see a listless wire-to-wire loss.
Maybe we’ll have some big changes to the staff in the days ahead. But in bad seasons, we often see such moves happen way after they should.
All that said, go Wizards.
