Thomas Bryant has suffered a torn ACL to his left knee, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Washington Wizards Center was injured during the team’s Saturday night game against the Miami Heat. Bryant went down awkwardly on his left leg, while under the basket in the first quarter. He did not return to the floor. According to Woj’s source, he has an MRI set for this morning.

The 23-year-old, who is having the best season of his career, is averaging 14.3 points and 6.1 rebounds in his 27.1 minutes per game. This season Bryant is 64.8 percent from the field.

The Wizards cannot catch a break right now. Bradley Beal is also out due to the NBA’s health and safety protocols and Russell Westbrook is on a day-to-day schedule due to a quad injury.

The Wizards organization has not given an update on how Bryant is doing but there’s no doubt that they will soon.
