The Washington Wizards play the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight at 8 p.m. ET. You can watch the game locally on NBC Sports Washington or listen to it on 1500 AM, the Wizards app or SiriusXM radio.
As you might expect, the Wizards are in trouble. They are a league-worst 0-5 and I don’t see how they’re suddenly going to turn things around given the current coaching situation. Defenders apparently aren’t in the rotation when it’s time for a lockdown defender to get on. Or a hot hand isn’t allowed to play for an entire half after carrying the team and preventing the team from getting blown out much earlier.
I’m still bitter over yesterday. But I am keeping the faith too. Maybe the Wizards can still win despite Scott Brooks’ mind boggling rotations and misuse of players where Tomas Satoransky comes to mind.
It’s a new year, and we have to see how Washington bounces back tonight. Here goes nothing. See y’all after the game.
