The NBA has two playoff game scheduled for today, including an elimination game for the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks staved off elimination in game four with an overtime win against the Miami Heat, despite an ankle injury to Giannis Antetokounmpo. Antetokounmpo is listed as questionable for this evening’s game. His absence would improve the Heat’s chances of closing out the series and advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals.
UPDATE at 6:13 Eastern: Antetokounmpo is OUT for game 5 with the sprained ankle.
The day’s closing contest features game three of the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets. Houston rolled to a 112-97 victory in game one as the Lakers struggled to contend with their speed, quickness, and relentless drive-and-kick actions. Game two went to Los Angeles when the Rockets’ small lineups got pummeled by Anthony Davis.
Today’s schedule:
- Game 5 — Miami Heat vs. Milwaukee Bucks — 6:30 p.m. Eastern, TNT
- Game 3 — Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets — 9:00 p.m. Eastern, TNT
