There are three games on today in the NBA and WNBA. Here they are below:
WNBA Semifinals games
Today, we could learn which team or teams will play in the 2020 WNBA Finals. The Sun will look to make the Finals for the fourth time in franchise history and for the second year in the row against the Aces. The Storm will look to make the Finals for the fourth time in franchise history and the second time in the last three years.
If the Sun and Storm make this year’s Finals, this would be the second time that both teams have faced each other for a championship. The first time both teams met was in 2004.
- Game 4: Las Vegas Aces vs. Connecticut Sun, 1 p.m. ET on ESPN (Connecticut leads, 2-1)
- Game 3: Seattle Storm vs. Minnesota Lynx, 3 p.m. ET on ABC, WJLA-TV in the D.C. area (Seattle leads, 2-0)
Celtics look to extend series to seven games in NBA Eastern Conference Finals
The Los Angeles Lakers won yesterday, 117-107 in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets. So all eyes head back to the Eastern Conference where the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat will look to punch their championship round tickets.
The Heat still lead the series, 3-2, but Boston is also coming off a 121-108 win last Friday. We’ll see if the Celtics can make this a seven game series. But if not, the Heat will make the Finals for the first time since 2014.
Enjoy the games everyone.
