There are three playoff games on this Thursday, so let’s run through them right here!

WNBA Semifinals continue

The Seattle Storm returned to play after a coronavirus scare that delayed their series against the MInnesota Lynx. In a tough game that was pretty even from start to finish last Tuesday, Alysha Clark made a game-winning putback to give them an 88-86 win in Game 1. Game 2 is tonight at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2.

Last Tuesday, we also saw the Las Vegas Aces tie their best-of-five series against the Connecticut Sun in a game at one a piece. In Game 2, though the Aces ultimately won 83-75, there were 20 ties and 14 lead changes. The MVP, A’ja Wilson had a monster 29 point game for Vegas. Alyssa Thomas unfortunately suffered a shoulder injury early on which hurt Connecticut. DeWanna Bonner did score 23 points and grab 7 rebounds to keep things interesting for Connecticut. This game is at 9:30 p.m. ET which you can see on ESPN2.

NBA Western Conference Finals continue with Lakers and Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets won 114-106 last Tuesday to make this a 2-1 series against the heavily favored Los Angeles Lakers. Jamal Murray scored 28 points and dished 12 assists in the win while Nikola Jokic added 22 points and 10 rebounds of his own. LeBron James had a triple double and Anthony Davis continued to dominate as a scorer, but the Lakers were behind from the end of the first quarter to the very end in this game.

We’ll see if LA can make this a 3-1 series tonight at 9 p.m. ET which you can see on TNT.

Enjoy the games everyone.
