The NBA Eastern Conference Finals have been well under way between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat, with Miami taking a 2-0 series lead!

Today, the Western Conference Finals begin with the top-seeded Los Angeles Lakers and the No. 3 seed Denver Nuggets. The game will begin at 9 p.m. ET which you can watch on TNT.

I’m just going to watch this game as a neutral observer, but I just want to see Denver win the series, just to throw a wrench into LeBron James’ championship hopes with L.A., but that’s just me. Then again, Tim Connelly is the President of Basketball Operations who reportedly turned down an offer to take the same role ... with the Washington Wizards last year.

I’m still wondering what would have been if he did accept it. So maybe I’m not feeling so warm about a Nuggets finals appearance.

Enjoy the basketball everyone!
