Pre-game notes

Summer League in Orlando- The seeding games have officially turned into a summer league for the Wizards. Hopefully Scott Brooks gets the message and actually benches the vets (Ish Smith, Napier, etc.) and lets Troy Brown Jr, Admiral Schoefield, Jonathan Williams, among others, get heavy minutes.

Can TBj play point? - It’s been great seeing this kid evolve, and I think the next step for him is to play meaningful minutes at point. For some reason Brooks does not like to see wings (did someone say Satoransky?) play at point, consistently preferring shorter, faster options. This of course has a price on D.

Wagner time - We have seen some up-and-down performances from Mo. However, I would like to argue that when Wagner is given confidence in the form of consistent minutes he has a better chance of performing well.
