The 2019-20 NBA season restart in Orlando had one ultimate purpose: to determine a champion.
Though the Washington Wizards were in the restart, we also knew their chances of earning the No. 8 seed were remote at best. With Bradley Beal and Davis Bertans sitting the restart out. Therefore, the bubble was essentially the Wizards’ “glorified summer league.”
Today, the NBA Playoffs begin and we’ll have a full day of basketball, albeit without the Wizards. Here’s the schedule:
- West No. 3 Denver Nuggets vs. West No. 6 Utah Jazz, Game 1 — 1:30 p.m. ET, ESPN
- East No. 2 Toronto Raptors vs. East No. 7 Brooklyn Nets, Game 1 — 4 p.m. ET, ESPN
- East No. 3 Boston Celtics vs. East No. 6 Philadelphia 76ers, Game 1 — 6:30 p.m. ET, ESPN
- West No. 2 Los Angeles Clippers vs. West No. 7 Dallas Mavericks, Game 1 — 9 p.m. ET
