Washington Wizards players Thomas Bryant and Gary Payton II have tested positive for COVID-19, according The Washington Post’s Ava Wallace. In a Thursday evening tweet, Wallace reported the pair, along with Garrison Matthews, did not travel with the team to Orlando.
Garrison Mathews, Thomas Bryant and Gary Payton did not travel with the Wizards to Orlando, per sources. Mathews for personal reasons. Bryant and Payton have tested positive for the coronavirus.

Matthews did not make the trip due to personal reasons and does not have COVID-19, according to Fred Katz of The Athletic. “Unclear for now if he’ll join the team at a later date or miss the Wizards’ eight remaining regular-season games,” Katz wrote in a tweet.
