This is good news for the Wizards, who won’t have Bradley Beal or Davis Bertans for the eight playoff seeding games. In addition, Bryant reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus last week.
Given that he is now in Florida, Bryant likely contracted the virus sometime in late June. And most of all, Bryant doesn’t appear to have had significant complications — and he’s now okay. In this COVID-19 world we live in, that’s what matters the most.
