The Washington Wizards are continuing their season, but one of their most important players won’t be. According to Tim Bontemps and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Davis Bertans will sit out the remainder of the 2019-20 NBA season.
Reporting with @TimBontemps: Washington Wizards F Davis Bertans has decided to sit out the Orlando restart, sources tell ESPN. Bertans is entering free agency off of his most productive NBA season – with two ACL injuries in his past.

Bertans averaged 15.4 points in the 2019-20 season while also averaging 42.4 percent (and 3.7 made shots) from the three point line.
This is a big blow to Washington’s playoff hopes, but it is understandable. Bertans is entering free agency this offseason and is expected to receive interest from many teams.
