Yesterday was the fifth anniversary of the Washington Wizards’ first round playoff sweep over the Toronto Raptors. It was certainly one of the best times during Randy Wittman’s tenure as head coach. Some of you in the comments also believe that it was the peak of the John Wall Era, which we will roughly define from 2010-present.
To me at least, I believe the Wizards’ win over the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of their second round playoff series was the apex. It doesn’t get much bigger than Wall’s game winning shot, whether you watched on television,
or were in the stands.
Anyway, which moment was a bigger peak for you during the John Wall Era? Let us know in the comments below!
