What was the peak moment of the Wizards during the John Wall Era so far?

New, comments

The 2010s had some big highs. Was it Wall’s game winner in 2017 against the Celtics? Or was it the sweep over the Raptors?

The Wizards’ Game 6 win over the Boston Celtics in the second round of the 2017 NBA Playoffs is often considered a watershed moment of the 2010s. But is it the best one?

Yesterday was the fifth anniversary of the Washington Wizards’ first round playoff sweep over the Toronto Raptors. It was certainly one of the best times during Randy Wittman’s tenure as head coach. Some of you in the comments also believe that it was the peak of the John Wall Era, which we will roughly define from 2010-present.

To me at least, I believe the Wizards’ win over the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of their second round playoff series was the apex. It doesn’t get much bigger than Wall’s game winning shot, whether you watched on television,

or were in the stands.

Anyway, which moment was a bigger peak for you during the John Wall Era? Let us know in the comments below!
