The Washington Wizards may not be playing on the court, but NBC Sports Washington is still airing simulated games via NBA2K20 that fans can watch on television. Yesterday, the Wizards would have faced the Los Angeles Lakers at home.
And Washington also won, 73-66, with four eight-minute quarters. In an odd twist, the Wizards also dominated the offensive rebounds, 18 to 8, which helped them overcome a significant field goal percentage deficit. And if all that weren’t enough, Jerome Robinson is starting and making plays!
How confident was @Rome_Coldbucks1 when taking this shot?

It wouldn’t be peculiar to see the Wizards beat the Lakers in a vacuum. But Washington has now won four consecutive games on the NBA2K simulated hardwood. I’m inclined to think that this run is a flash in the pan, but you never know what can happen in video game land, right?
